So I think we bought this house looking up. . . meaning that I don’t think we ever looked down at the carpets while walking through this house! Or these people had very strategically placed furniture. The first thing we noticed now that the house is empty are the dirty carpets.
So, first unexpected cost? Check.
Considering the fact that we have 2 cats that will be moving in next week & a horror story (courtesy of my brother) about cats making messes on already soiled carpet. . . we made the plunge & are getting new carpet. The existing carpet is in the 3 bedrooms & the hallway & the stairs, so it’s not everywhere. . . but it still feels like everywhere with the price tag.
So, what are we up to today? Ripping up carpet to save $$!
